A few farms offer an evening meal, using local produce wherever possible. If you prefer the flexibility of self-catering accommodation, we have wide range of well equipped properties including pretty cottages, converted barns , stables and coach houses.

Each property has its own unique character and differs in size, style and price from its neighbours. Most of the properties are active working farms (see tractor symbol) and are owned by people with a farming background with knowledge of the countryside and rural life.

Warwickshire is scattered with small pretty towns and villages providing pleasant places to while away the time. Among the charming countryside you will find a wealth of interesting places to visit, including magnificent castles, ancient churches, glorious gardens, stately homes and historic houses.

Bidford-on-AvonSpend the day exploring the picturesque countryside, browse in an art gallery or antique shop, or visit the theatre. Shop at some of the oldest chartered weekly markets in the country or at one of the farmers markets held in the county. Head to the picturesque market towns to shop or take time out for a leisurely walk, a trip on a river or canal and stop for a meal in traditional pub.

North Warwickshire

Warwick Castle at SunsetAs you enter North Warwickshire you might think you had stepped into another world. In the tranquil surroundings of rural North Warwickshire you can appreciate why so many people choose to visit this beautiful part of the country; leafy country lanes, an abundance of trees and hedges.

Home of George Eliot at Arbury Hall, Nuneaton (the Gothic gem of the Midlands), this part of Warwickshire is so convenient for visiting a huge variety of attractions.

Chesterton Windmill, Warwickshire Tamworth Castle was home to the Marmion family and has over 900 years of history in this magnificent motte and bailey castle. DraytonManor, Twycross Zoo, Bosworth Battlefield and the National Forest are all within 30 minutes of this area. There are Children's Farms, real snow at Tamworth Snowdome and the West Midlands Waterski Centre; all so easy to reach. A host of family run pubs provide excellent refreshment.

Within the area we have seven golf courses, including two championship courses at The Belfry and The Forest of Arden. For those interested in books there is Astley Book Farm, Nuneaton with over 30,000 second hand books in store and Chesters in Polesworth is another renowned source of '000s of old books and prints. For bird watchers there is Kingsbury Water Park while the Heart of England and Centenary Way footpaths provide miles of wonderful walks. There is also an extensive canal system running through the area and a well sign posted North Warwickshire Cycleway covers 35 miles of quiet roads for the keen cyclist.
